The Country Commuter traces the history of the railway network which once radiated from Christchurch. It is a look at the parts of railway history that influenced the day-to-day lives of the people and the carriage of their goods. It is a written and photographic of the rich history of local railway transport and of the city and province itself.
The book is part of the “On the Move: Christchurch transport through the years” series (also available from us) but owing to popular demand we have sourced and are selling it as a stand-alone book.
