The National Railway Museum provides a search and copy service to its customers. We can copy photographs, slides, documents etc.
To request our services please fill in and send the form below detailing what you want, and one of our members will be in touch to discuss your requirement with you.
Prices for the service are:
Digital Images
$20.00 Per image, B&W or colour.
Images can be supplied at either JPEGs or as TIFFs.
If the image is for use in railway journals, there is a 50% discount.
Image Resolution for JPEGs or TIFs is at 300ppi, but higher resolutions are available upon request.
Digital Delivery
All digital files will be supplied via email where possible, or
posted to you on a memory stick. The cost of this will be included in our quote.

Document Copying
All copies are supplied in Black and White
Cost is $1.00 per scan for reference quality A4 photocopy print or a PDF.
Copies are supplied for research purposes or personal use only.
Postage Costs
Cost of postage will be charged at the current New Zealand Post rate for the letter or package. Where appropriate Rural Delivery charges will be added to the quote.
Publication of Copied Items
If an image from the NRMNZ is to be used for a publication or another public use, a reproduction fee may be charged by negotiation. The National Railway Museum requires that the origin of the item be acknowledged, both the originator of the item and the National Railway Museum.
