Description
The book includes a brief history of the Kingston Flyer steam train that operates between Kingston and Fairlight in New Zealand’s South Island. It was originally an NZGR service but after many twists and turns in its history it is now a very popular steam-hauled tourist train that runs between Kingston and Fairlight, a distance of 14kms each way.
The book includes the author’s photos taken over many years of the Kingston Flyer, and also an additional eighteen pages of photographs of steam workings throughout the South Island.
